A&E: my heart is in my hard drive

My laptop is in terrible condition. It breaks my heart to see her this way. I've tried everything - tomorrow I'm bringing her in to be completely wiped out. I've managed, with much difficulty that requires the patience I lack, to back everything up amidst constant pop-ups from Viagra sites and CLICK HERE FOR FREE #%&*@$#!$#@ and having to restart all the time. Saved bookmarks and made a list of programmes to re-download and everything.

I can't run iTunes, TweetDeck, Last.fm, upload pictures on fb, run any applications or install any software. Because all these things require applications (or whatever) that are ALL infected and cannot be used right now. This really sucks. Critical & Very High infections - we're at 34 and counting. Really.

I can't get any work done like this - imagine carefully reading a most important paragraph and getting distracted by ED is common and normal repeatedly. I just can't do it. It's impossible. So tomorrow all will be fixed, despite the system-wiping pain I will undoubtedly feel.

Wedding was yesterday, but more of that tomorrow.

Busy busy week ahead, all the lines, they are dead.
